Nancy works with communities to design and create a parochet (ark curtain) -- large or small--- for portable and permanent Holy Arks.
This synagogue now has two sets of curtains--- one for every day use and another for the High Holy Days.
In 1996, my entry was chosen as the winner of a competition held by the Ark Buildersof Temple Israel, Natick, Massachusetts.
In 2024, religious school
students helped make
this curtain.
